Data transport protocols

Digital River supports the following data transport protocols:

  • Email–As attachments or within the body.

  • S/FTP (Secure/File Transfer Protocol). You can place files on Digital River servers for retrieval or push them to external servers.

  • HTTP/HTTPS (Hypertext Transport Protocol/Hypertext Transport Protocol Secure)–Supports server-side and Client Certificates.

XML

Digital River supports the XML (Extensible Markup Language) format.

Encryption

Digital River supports the following encryption types:

  • PGP (Pretty Good Privacy)

  • AES (Advanced Encryption Standard)

GMT

Digital River provides all dates and times in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) format.
