# Delayed payment reminder event

Understand the delayed payment reminder event.

The `delayed_payment.reminder` event occurs when a reminder is sent out for an order submitted using the delayed payment CloudPay method and is still awaiting payment. This event reminds the customer of the pending payment to ensure the timely fulfillment of the transaction. It helps maintain effective communication with customers about their payment obligations, potentially reducing the risk of payment delays or defaults.
