# Sales summaries

The Sales Summaries resource provides you with the following information for individual sales summaries or a list of sales summaries:

* The date in which sales transactions were aggregated in the sales summary
* How much Digital River owes you for the sales summary
* The [Digital River entities](/digital-river-api/integration-options/checkouts/creating-checkouts/selling-entities.md) that owe you for the sales summary.
* Your [entities ](/digital-river-api/integration-options/checkouts/creating-checkouts/selling-entities.md)that Digital River owes for the sales summary
* The sales summaries Digital River has paid or has not paid you for
* The Digital River payout associated with the sales summary

The Payouts resource allows you to return a list of sales summaries and get a sales summary by ID.
