# Exporting your sales summary details

Exporting your sales summary details is crucial for effective data management and analysis, allowing you to store information in various formats like CSV or JSON. The following sections provide step-by-step instructions to help you export your sales summaries efficiently.

## Export as CSV

Exporting your sales summary details as CSV files allow you to store, analyze, and share your data in a widely-used, easily accessible format. Follow the steps below to export your sales summaries in CSV format.

1. Click **Sales summaries** in the left navigation. The Sales summaries page appears.
2. [Filter your sales summaries](/digital-river-api/administration/dashboard/finance/sales-summaries/filtering-your-sales-summaries.md) if needed.
3. Select a summary ID under the **Summary ID** column. The Sales summary details page appears.
4. Click the down arrow ![](/files/-M2e-iV00FCbYBmJA-vj) and select **Export as CSV**.\

5. Click the **Export as CSV** button (not the arrow).\

   The **Save As** dialog appears.
6. Choose a location and file name to save the file.

## Export as JSON

Exporting your sales summary details as JSON files allow you to easily share and integrate your data with various systems and applications. Follow the steps below to export your sales summaries in JSON format.

1. Click **Sales summaries** in the left navigation. The Sales summaries page appears.

3. Select a summary ID under the **Summary ID** column. The Sales summary details page appears.
