# Viewing your personal information

To view and manage your personal information, navigate to the Profile settings page. Here, you can review and update details such as your registered first name, last name, and email address.

## Profile settings

Your **Personal information** (registered first name, last name, and email address) appears in the upper portion of this page.

From this page, you can access A**ccount security** settings. You can [change your password](/digital-river-api/administration/dashboard/profile-settings/updating-your-phone-number.md), enable multifactor authentication, and [update your trusted mobile number](/digital-river-api/administration/dashboard/profile-settings/updating-your-phone-number.md).

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** The Digital River Dashboard application provides multifactor authentication (MFA) to ensure maximum security. Choose your phone number or Google Authenticator [to set up MFA](/digital-river-api/administration/dashboard/profile-settings/enabling-two-factor-authentication.md). If you are using both Digital River Dashboard and eCompass, you are required to set up MFA for both applications. Use the same username and password for both applications, so you only need to set up MFA once. Digital River applies your credentials to both applications in the same way.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.digitalriver.com/digital-river-api/administration/dashboard/profile-settings/viewing-your-personal-information.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
