Filtering your sales summaries is an essential task that enables you to derive actionable insights from your sales data. By applying specific filters such as Payee ID, Payer name, or date ranges, you can focus on the most relevant transactions. When analyzing your sales data, it is crucial to filter the information to focus on specific criteria that matter to your business. By setting precise filter parameters, you can streamline your view to highlight relevant transactions, identify trends, and make informed decisions. The table below outlines the parameters you can configure to tailor your sales summaries effectively.
Payee ID
The unique identifier of the payee.
Payee name
The name of the payee.
Payer ID
The unique identifier of the payer.
Payer name
The name of the payer.
Sales summary date range
The start and end date range for the sales summary.
Currency
A three-letter alphabetic ISO currency code.
Filtering your sales summaries allows you to narrow the vast amounts of transaction data to meaningful insights pertinent to your needs. You can focus on particular payees, payers, date ranges, and currencies by applying various filter parameters. This targeted approach helps save time, enhances data clarity, and improves decision-making by presenting only the most relevant information.
Click Sales summaries in the left navigation. The Sales summaries page appears.
Click the Filter drop-down menu. The Filters dialog appears.
Complete all or some of the fields and click Apply. The Filter button displays how many changes you applied to the Filter settings while you are on the page. The Filter settings return to their default settings when you leave the page. To clear the filter settings, click Filter and then click Clear.
