Understand the Prebuilt Checkout workflow.

The Digital River Prebuilt Checkout feature has its workflow when configured and enabled in BigCommerce. Read this topic for general information on the workflow.

After your customer has added products to their cart and clicks Checkout, the Digital River Global Checkout appears in the experience. You will see the following sequence of modals if you have enabled Prebuilt Checkout.

Cart

At the Cart stage of your checkout, you have the following information displayed in the modal:

Checkout - Address collection

At the Checkout stage of your checkout, you have the following address information displayed in the modal:

Shipping selection

At the shipping method selection stage of your checkout, you have the following information displayed in the modal:

VAT ID collection

At the VAT ID collection stage of your checkout, you have the following information displayed in the modal:
