Create a BigCommerce API Key

Create an API key to communicate with BigCommerce.

Create an API key so Digital River can communicate with your BigCommerce instance. To do this, use the following steps:

  1. In BigCommerce, go to Settings > API > API Accounts. The following is displayed:

  2. Click Create API account.

  3. On the next screen, create an API token with the following values:

    V2/V3 API Token

    Name

    Digital River Token

    Scope

    Permission

    Customers

    Modify

    Orders

    Modify

    Products

    Read-Only

    Carts

    Modify

    Checkouts

    Modify

  4. Provide the API Path displayed on the screen.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Be sure to copy the BigCommerce API Credentials. Provide the API Path and Access Token to your Digital River implementation manager.
