Fulfilling products

Learn how to fulfill products when using Prebuilt Checkout.

The client is responsible for sending the POST /fulfillments calls to Digital River. For more information, see the Fulfilling goods and services documentation. The BigCommerce order status will be updated automatically when a fulfillment is created and processed.

Digital River Order State	BigCommerce Order State
If the Digital River order is partially fulfilled then	The BigCommerce order state is updated to "Partially Shipped."
If the Digital River order is complete then	The BigCommerce order state is updated to "Completed."

You can use the Digital River Dashboard to create fulfillments as follows:

1. Click Fulfill items on the Order details page.

   
2. Review the Create fulfillment page information, click Review, and submit.

   

The BigCommerce order state is updated as stated in the table above.
