# POP offers

A POP offer is an offer that uses a Point of Promotion (POP) to determine where it appears in an online store. A POP can be an interstitial page, banner or homepage image, pop-up window, etc. Offers retrieved for a cart using the Offers resource must be POP-driven. The `popName` is the name of the point of promotion (POP).
