What's new in version 2.1
Learn about new features for the Digital River app version 2.1 for Salesforce Lightning.
We added the following new features to this app version:
Support for LWR guest checkout has been added.
Support for the Cart Calculate API tax calculator has been added.
Additionally, the sample shipping extension (for test use only) has been updated to be compatible with the Cart Calculate API
Product sync has been updated to support SKU groups better. Cart type (Digital or Non-Digital) is now determined using the DR Digital Product field instead of the tax code mapping.
Enhanced tax calculations logic to reuse checkouts if the cart hasn’t been updated has been added. This results in easier traceability and less Digital River checkout API calls
Enhanced webhook logic to support salesforce’s asynchronous order placement framework
Order placement logic was updated to use OOTB place order functionality. This eliminates needing a custom flow to map fields from Cart to Order/OrderSummary.
Payment gateway logic was updated to use the newer
postAuthorizationAPI instead of the older Connect API.
