What's new in version 3.0

Learn about new features for the Salesforce B2C LINK Cartridge 3.0.

2023/06/30

We made the following changes to Salesforce B2C LINK Cartridge 3.0:

• We added support for the dynamic pricing feature. This feature is enabled by converting SFCC price book conversions using the Dynamic Pricing API. The feature allows the shopper to pick their country and currency independent of the site locale.

• We added support for the Digital River global logistics feature. This feature integrates the Shipping Quotes API, allowing the merchant to ship products globally.

We made the following changes to Salesforce B2C LINK Cartridge 2.7:

• We added support so shoppers can enter their banking details for offline refunds.

• We added the ability to collect the Organization Name for business purchases during checkout.

• We updated the list of supported file types for US tax exemptions.

• We removed the ability for the shopper to upload US tax exemptions directly in the checkout flow. Alternativelyzero-dollar, they can add their certificates on their My Account page.

We made the following changes to Salesforce B2C LINK Cartridge 2.6:

• We added better support for redirect payment methods. This was done by implementing a new submit-then-redirect flow where the Digital River order is first submitted. A payment redirect then occurs, and, finally, the Salesforce order is created.

• We added support for line-level tracking information in fulfillment requests.
