# What's new in version 4.2.4

## 4.2.4

Hey there, we've recently made some exciting improvements and updates to the Digital River Adobe Commerce Extension to improve your eCommerce experience. Here's what we've done:

* Migrated the [Digital River Tax Code product attributes](/adobe-commerce-extension/configure-the-digital-river-extension/configuring-taxes.md) from select fields to input fields.
* Updated the Digital River Footer to depend on the [shipping address](/adobe-commerce-extension/configure-the-digital-river-extension/configure-cross-border-features.md) rather than the site's locale.
* Added [Item Breadcrumbs and Description](/adobe-commerce-extension/configure-the-digital-river-extension/configuring-products.md) of Digital River product attributes for[ cross-border item classification](/adobe-commerce-extension/configure-the-digital-river-extension/configure-cross-border-features.md).
* Added validation so that an [organization name](/adobe-commerce-extension/configure-the-digital-river-extension/configure-cross-border-features.md) is required for business purchases.
* Added[ postal code validation](/adobe-commerce-extension/appendix-1.md#appendix-d-permitted-checkout-error-codes) and [improved error handling within the checkout process](/adobe-commerce-extension/appendix-1.md#appendix-d-permitted-checkout-error-codes).
